I did my spec just before Christmas. I went with the matt white after back and forth with the grey. I'm told a static car will be in Westfield in March (odd place and an odd time). Dealers will have static cars shortly afterwards. First UK cars being made week 28 so thats July so I think it will be Sept before first RHD cars arrive.

The matt white does look stunning, I was very close to choosing it... assume you ordered through Egham?

37k for visual carbon? Thar does seem a little excessive - you did not go for a base spec car then smile
Mmmm... ok, let’s never talk about how much that cost again! Ouch... probably should have spent more time looking at the price list.. oh well...

That stitching isn’t cheap either, it almost makes the carbon look like good value..

All they’ve said is that it should be before the end of the year, assuming no delays..

I had been looking at an F8 but they just didn’t grab me, besides I’ve never had a Maserati and thought it would be worthwhile owning one at least once.

I’ve just sold my McLaren - what a pile of crap that car was - awful reliability, awful dealer service.. great cars when they work but no soul.
You only live once and the car does look absolutely stunning imo - much prefer the looks to all of the recent mid-engined Ferraris - on second thought actually to all recent Ferraris
And I fully agree - owning a Maserati is still on my list, although in my case a GranSport will do very nicely (the last pretty/want one car they made until this one)
Looking forward to pics and driving impressions once you get it
Good ethos - we’re a long time dead.. smile

I put the deposit down last year and submitted the order and config this week, has anyone else done it?

Config ID - DC23850D

Been watching a few of the videos and half wishing I’d gone white, although I know will be a bugger to keep clean.. have chosen red...
Its a stunning looking car in the red., great choice... the white would have been very Dubai and that's not good.

The £XXXXXX on the carbon seems bonkers!
but what shocked me is the configurator only shows 6 standard colours and no "options" yet the red cost you £8K !!!! so does it come with any paint as standard or just primer?

How many will go without the carbon if the alternative is rather smart ?

Will White be available in gloss - has matte is impossible to match ?

Are deposits being taken for the spyder version as yet ?

Not sure about the spyder, as far as I know they aren’t.. I was concerned the coupe would turn up and the spyder would steal the show.

I like the coupe but feel the spyder will do just that, I have a budget so would probably opt to save the £30k on the carbon as I did on the Mclaren

i'm hoping the track special will have some kinda mc12 tribute paint scheme and wheels. that's ideal spec for me.

Seriously tempted by one of these as can get a November delivery, which is also worrying at the same time as there is only a limited number coming into the UK. Given how well it looks you would have thought the uptake to be a lot better.

Thoughts?

I too think its a little scaryyikes but i think the car looks amazing, all the Ferrari's are starting to look the same, you'll probably have one of the first car's
but November is late in the year for weather.

I think its a moment of jumping in two feet forward and hoping the car gets amazing reviews,
so it doesn't lose a shed load of money, if you decide you don't like it and want to change it

I'm planning on a spyder for summer 2022 (post covid)

I think it's one of the most interesting cars in years, it just looks so good and Maserati are a brand that the public seem to respect in a way they don't for Ferrari/Lambo. there's just something unique about them

the hardest decision imo is picking the spec, it looks so good in many different colour combos

Agreed, and without ther super expensive exterior carbon pack it almost seems good value for a lightly specced one imo. Will have to give it some thought this week.

Whilst I am in no position to ever own one, I have always loved the look of the MC20 and now see that UK customer cars have started to arrive (someone in my town has one and Romans where showing a customer car off) but has anyone on PH taken delivery of there's yet? Would love to see pics of them.

I was told a few weeks ago that mine would arrive later this month or beginning of November - I've just chased them now to see whether they have a more exact date.

The black one that Romans posted looked immense. Now wishing I'd gone black - hopefully red looks just as good.

Also need to figure out a good time to mention to the wife that I may have bought a new car..

So if rumours are to be true, the one Romans had paraded on there social media has now been taken in as part ex against a Cullinan! Suprised by that decision.
