We bought a 2016 Ghibli S from a main dealer.
There was no 'Ghibli' badge on the boot.

We're now selling it and the buyer is asking about it suggesting that it has had a respray!
That sounds rather extreme.

The dealer we bought it from didn't declare any such work and I can see no evidence on the car.

The badges are only held on with an adhesive. My guess is that it's fallen off with washing.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

When I used to work at a main dealer we used to 'de badge' Ghibli & QP fairly frequently at the clients request....I liked the cleaner look they were looking for personally.

Could of just been taken off by the old owner.
