Please can you post some pics so I can get an idea of how this looks with the pointy bits on the VXR style bumper? I'm really interested in this mod. Cheers.

if you cut the ends of the splitter off then it fits well between the pointy bits

I'm trying to get my head around this; so will it not just sit underneath the entire bumper as pictured on the CV8 without cutting?

LOL, I've lost count how many different makes of cars have used this mod

I'd question any aero properties though but as a cosmetic addition they can look good.

+1. I don't think there will be any aerodynamic benefits from this splitter- in fact I would go as far as saying it will increase drag. (don't take my word for it, I'm not an aerodynamicist laugh )

Ps- my two previous cars had this splitter fitted (Hyundai coupe V6 and Rover 200 BRM). The splitter suited both really well biggrin

hopefully will post some pics in a few weeks time when fitted, think it will look good with a carbon wrap over it and at that price its not a disaster if I damage it or knock it off on a kerb.
Yes its just for looks only .......but gsd is going to try and get me in Rolls Royce's wind tunnel later to evaluate it lol

small nuts and bolts with large (ish) washers, they should be hidden under the nose......have not got the splitter yet as I am holiday but as gsd said it offerd up quite well, needs a bit of fettling for a good fit.

Front splitter now fitted.
Thanks to Gurmeet ( GSD ) for the idea and letting me try his splitter first.
I realise this may not be to everyones taste but I think it compliments the VXR body kit well, It really needs two people to fit it one to hold the outer edges and pull them forwards into position and the second guy to mark and drill, I used twelve small screws with nuts and washers to secure it, trimmed the edges off as in the pictures had it carbon wrapped and for approx £50 and a few hours work all done.
It sits one half inches lower and goes over speed humps ok and they are quite severe in my area, the car is at standard ride height.

Further pictures as pistonheads only seem to let me upload one pic per posting.

I did over tighten one of the two center bolts slightly, hence the ripple! these two bolts have rubber spacers so slackend it off and all is ok.|http://thumbsnap.com/yhRJ3Daw
