Maybe I'm just no searching hard enough.

What rules are there of putting a battery in the boot? What must be done?

Also where is best to put it? I was thinking tight in the back right . Out of the way and the right Sid of the axle hopefully not going to make a huge difference to wieght. I though about maybe the passenger side so even the weight out but surely it's not going to notice??

Any kits online for battery holders?

Thanks

There's a quite a few that havedone it on the LS1GTO forum, just bolt it in down, run the positive under the car to the existing connector, and ground the negative I think.

Are there specific mot rules regarding the battery then? Position, accessibility?

That's what I wanted to know. Not sure what an MOT centre test for. Many seem to run the live on the outside of the car all the way. makes sense. I was thinking using a VX material cover on the battery so any spills or metal put in the boot can't catch the battery.

I gues it also means I can use ANY size battery as long as its at or above stock speck.
