Not good frown. Saw your car this morning at the Fish, any idea when your 'box will be ready...?

took the car in as the gear shift didnt quite feel right, roger drove the car and said yes some thing is not 100% but the box works fine. so we chatted and agreed it could be possible early sign of spigbot bearing failure so we decided best course of action was take box off check the bearing and replace. box came off and it was not the spigbot bearing failure frown so me thinking on labour saving asked roger while the box was out to look at my dodgy reverse as its never gone in first time since the day i had it. upon opening the box for reverse we found the problem... reverse was knackered (no surprise there) the reverse selector fork was broken (surprise there) and the following gears where damaged 6,5,4,3(actually had teeth missing yikes), long with the main shaft being excessively worn..

so only one thing for it.. fix the box as its still cheaper than buying and fitting a new one..

i know mate but it did surprise me and roger considering how only slight the box felt wrong 9 out of 10 people would not have felt how slightly wrong it was as it was so minor upon shifting but i knew something didn't feel right to me and i needed it checked.. so makes you think how fked some boxes really are for the ones that complain there bad...
