Well it was a bit wet but glad to be able to turn up for elevenses. Hope Kyle looking down had a laugh about it, I know he enjoyed burning rubber in his Ro.

I can only reflect on what the others have said. I was proud to help represent Kyles "V8 family" on this forum and happy to be in the presence of other like minded guys who were lucky enough to get time off to attend and put on a good send off with our cars. Luke asked us to give him a typical V8 salute as we came out of the service and we were glad to oblige! I was really moved by the strength of character of Kyles family and close friends, they are wonderful people who derserve to be remembered too.

I think the coffin, wrapped in superb graphics of Kyles Ro, was a masterpiece, and the idea of his best friend Luke (PHer MaudyZ28). Luke has a modded Z28 and I met Luke atSanta Pod some time ago when we got to race up the strip. I wish we could have met again under better circumstances, however, we did celebrate Kyles life as wished by his family.

I think we should keep Kyles memory alive by having a trophy of some kind to be given at our do's annually. What do you guys think?

Just wanted to add, that we all met up about 3 miles away and managed a unbroken convoy of 5 V8's all the way to the church where Luke marshalled us all in front of the church in a V formation. It was great to meet up with Simon, Roger ("Justcall me satnav") and Paul, I enjoyed their Clan stories of their regular meets with Kyle. I met GSD on the M1 for the trip up. We all left together for our final goodbye.

I perhaps shouldn't mention the mystery tour from the church to the hotel???

Gareth like ur idea about a trophy and was thinking something along that line for the national meet.

But now you said that thinking.

"Kyle Stock memorial trophy for outstanding contrabution"

And could be handed out each year to someone who has made made a real effort for the forum.

Also if anyone wants to make a donation to Kyle and Emma's child fund could you please just drop me an email, thanks
YHM mate. Although I could have just got you through Facebook hehe

Despite the sad circumstances it looks like it was a good day and a nice turn out of cars which I'm sure he would have appreciated being the petrolhead that he was.

Well done to everyone that attended thumbup

Well do we get a trophy or a plaque?

if we are going to hand it out each year to to someone in the forum do we get there name engraved in it, or just get a trophy and it gets past from year to year and a note of the winners are kept on the forum?

Design was thinking of a V8 design but cant find anything yet.
