Do the Monaro VXR's come with a fire extinguisher as standard, if so where are they located and does someone have a photo?

I dont know if they came with an extinguisher but if you get one wrap some of the hook part of velcro round it a couple of times and it will stick to the boot carpet.
It sticks very well at Spa my one didn't move.

Ah ok, I've got one off flea bay for the le man's trip. Going to leave it in the boot for now but was just wondering where the vxrs had them.

Planning on making a mount so that it fits just infront of the drivers seat for easy access

Is there any greater risk of fire in France? I never carry an extinguisher there.

When I bought my Monaro new it came with a fire extinguisher loose in the boot. I think it is UK requirement for a new car to be sold with one, though presumably not necessarily carry it.

Do yourself a favour, and put it on the passenger side. YOu can still reach it, and there's no chance (however remote) of it rolling under the pedals and stopping you from braking. yikes

Other than burning effigies of Henry V. The Duke of Wellington and Lord Nelson, Fire extinguishers are a legal requirement in France i believe!

Don't think they are essential but recommended
