If it 's making a rattling, banging or grinding sound it will be expensive. Otherwise, let's hope it's something cheap and easy like a plug lead.

Hope its just a plug, She drives ok and revs fine when driven normally,
only see the problem when driven hard..

Plenty of mods for NA engines too.
Its just that they dont require redesigning the enginebay, electronics, fuel system etc.
All that does is introduce more points of failure.

But some would say we have done this to death many times.
I agree modding is fun. One day I might even soil myself with an FI setup.
Ha Ha!

We have similar sounding symptoms with Evos, sometimes if the plugs are worn the boost can blow the spark out (no joke).

This causing pops and bangs as all the fuel isn't burnt in the cylinder and rough runnning / loss of power.

New plugs usually sorts out the problem, but it's been caused by the coil packs too in some cases.

The management light will also come on as it detects a misfire (usually tells you which cylinder too when the fault codes are diagnosed).

Same here, hope it's something simple (and cheap) to fix- then you'll have more money for carbon mods biggrinthumbup

Can only agree with everyone else, hope it’s something simple.

Also agree with FI not being cheap!
