The Fish always recommend a new slave if you are having a clutch fitted. They will have them in stock.

I hope the fluid has not buggered your new clutch plate.
Not with me they didn't, but I wish they had!

I seem to think I've seen an uprated one somewhere? Have I been sniffing too much petrol or is there such a thing?

I think ram or mcloud did an uprated one but I think that was just to be used with their clutches.

I've not read or heard of any others you can buy an OEM one for around 100 and the spigot bearing for around 15. The quoted rough prices are from Snl performance in the states

Just found a company called Tick Performance in USA. They do an adjustable master cylinder which all the problems we're experiencing. Anyone used it?

I bought a new original GM one last year and by the time I got it here it was around £180 or so.
There are cheaper ones about, and I did buy one a few years ago. It actually looked ok, although never bothered using it in the end. Not sure where it ended up.

It's the slave cylinder thats leaking.

If this is for a monaro just buy the one for a f body camaro, its cheaper and the same part.

Snl performance sell them the cheapest and they are sourced from the manufacturer.

I've got an adjustable master but not fitted it yet, they are not a straight forward fit, just also don't really need them unless you have issues shifting gears fast

It is the same part for all, although the F-body has the quick disconnect fitting attached to the slave. The Monaro version does not.
Although it is a simple matter of knocking a dowel pin out and swapping or removing the fitting as required.

i know the fbody is the cheapest of the lot

i didnt think that the f body had a quick release and only the gto had a quick disconnect?
