You might still hear us.Last year there was someone doing it properly and popping the tyres, didn't see what car it was for all the smoke, but heard the bang when they went.
Here is how to, from 2.30

Hopefully the Camaro will be ready as I have the OEM wheels and tires still, which can be shredded
Also Ill get onto the route when Im back in the UK. I think the idea is to take 3 or 4 days each side of the show for travel. Maybe leaving a day early at the back end. So total time off perhaps 10 days (1.5 weeks)
But we have the accommodation for the week, so its flexi.

There is a bit of a list above, so I think we are maxed out for now. Im sure if you take a tent there will be a spot somewhere.
I think you just roll on up to the gate. Ive not seen any mention of buying tickets ahead of time.
Ill be taking the Camaro or the vxr8 depending. Preferably the Camaro

Ok going to finalise the route and itinerary this coming week hopefully.
So it would be good confirm attendee's
MyM8V8 Stick suggested he may not be ready in time. But Ill let him comment/confirm to me via email.
This may free his room up.
Ill be taking the channel tunnel over, so will look at dates.
Gareth, let me know when you are planning on hitting the continent. We can meet you in Denmark/Holland or wherever you drop anchor.

Ok looks like there should be a couple of spaces for some others then.
Ive chopped the route up into 3 x 6 hour days. Im sure we can "improve" on the Google times.

Gareth, where do you make landfall? Meeting near Bremen on morning of Day 2 would tie in well depending on where you hit landfall.
I think there is room to head off Sunday AM and arrive Wed PM for day 1 on thursday, so perhaps chop it up into 4 x 4hr days instead of 3 x 6hrs on the way up and perhaps do it in 3 days on the way back?
We can head off Sunday AM after the final day, or even get started Sat afternoon depending.
Possibly from midday Sat, Sun, Monday and back to work tuesday.
Let me know what you guys think!?
Once we figure out the pace we can look at stops along the way and where to spend the night.

Not to bug in or anything, but the road over Motala and Kumla is in pretty poor shape and heavily used by lorries, or at least was when I drove there last summer. I would opt for Norrkoping to Katrineholm to Kungsör to Eskilstuna to Västerås, or better yet, take the motorway to Södertälje and from there the motorway to Eskilstuna and on to Västerås, it adds some 60-70 miles to the trip though, but is a much better road.
Generally the smaller roads are in bad condition, full of grooves and potholes, especially after the hard winter we've had.
