You might have to be patient but keep a watch on ebay australia, www.ebay.com.au

They come up occasionally

Might be worth sending an e mail to a reseller of genuine parts on australia ebay to ask them if they can source one for you and for how much.

Maybe wrong but the badge supplied by hsv for the bonnet or boot. Does it not slot perfectly in the steering wheel? Think that's what I have on mine and I think looks better than the red sticker I have seen on others.

LOL, no Lee. You really wouldn't a bonnet badge hitting you in the face if the airbag went off would you ?

I have tried and continue to try both of these ideas, but haven't once seen one for auction and each person I speak to tells me they cannot get them.

My other thought was to contact HSV breakers yards in Oz, but no luck there so far either frown

The hunt continues...

What is so hard about these? My mum brought me back my HSV centrecaps and rear emblem from Aus last year - purchasified from the Holden stealership local to my sister's place.

Is the steering wheel badge difficult to come by? confused

She's going back out again over Christmas if anyone wants one that way? (I'm happy enough with my Domedbadge one myself).

The problem is that unfortunately HSV dealers don't actually sell the steering wheel badge; they will only sell the complete airbag unit complete with badge for something like AU$450.

Only option really is to remove the badge from a car that no longer needs it; i.e. a scrapped car from a breakers yard (presumably where the air-bag has deployed). Most of these places don't seem to like using the Internet so are hard to come by on flea bay.

If your mum would be willing to call by a few breakers yards and purchase a few badges then I'm sure there would be quite a market for them on here biggrin I'd certainly add her to my Christmas card list smile

Would you be able to suggest a diameter for the badge you got!

I measured the existing one at 38mm, that was the black part which sits inside a silver ring.

Melchett - see this thread for info and images.

Might as well get a fob badge whilst you are ordering........ :-)
