Really?? I thought the km symbols where all that was there. There a solid mark. Ill put mine in to test mode and check.

Hmmmm this thread just got interesting.

Ill check but it does look like there is mph options from some online pics I have seen.

That's new!!! Only a month old. Ta

Changing the PCM should be easy enough. Although will look at what the difference is. Surely I can flash a different OS to mine.

there is some more info out there I have seen it, but for the life of me could not find it at near midnight last night. Searching is a lot easier if you use Google.com.au

time for a small update. i have managed to source myself a "test cluster" this evening so all i need to do is make a bench rig (job for the weekend) and i should be able to do a lot more work on the clusters with out needing to change my pants every time i look at mine currently..

just a quick update to say my "Bench" cluster has turned up so i can now do things at a lot less risk



im hoping to make some good progress on this, this week.

oddly enough i can....... on a 1969 Mini...

im also looking forward to seeing the finished article... before i go blind. it looks like the americans have found some new features i need to check out on our uk clusters as there not the same as the American one or Australian ones well not 100%

you should try checking if the cluster is still in your car

another update for you all. here is a list of things i have managed to achieve since having a bench cluster setup.

VY Cars (Big Boot Models)

Holden Startup Logo
HSV Startup Logo
chevrolet Startup Logo
CSV Startup Logo
Pontiac Startup logo
and of course the Vauxhall startup logo.

for HSV and CSV startup logos only shutdown text can be added that can shows one of the following

Build Number
Car type eg Monaro / Coupe and year
HSV and year
custom text + year

Shift light enable / disable for all logos

changing the shift light low temp RPM
change shift light RPM for each gear from 0 rpm to 10,000 RPM

Change a manual Cluster into an auto cluster and visa versa

changing all dials and trip computer options to KPH and back again (not sure if i can change a default KPH to MPH yet)

turn off the service reminder permanently

adjust service reminder intervals

things im currently working on

changing a VZ cluster from manual to auto and visa versa

enable the LCD display to show the gear you have changed to for both manual and auto

Airbag lights
