doing some quick googeling befre work this am, its looking more likey ill have to buy a cable but at $50 a throw there not cheap

I quite happy to share the cost to get this up and running Ferret.

thanks for the offer gents, let me do some cable hunting this evening and see what i can find..

i did look at making my own cable but there is no real details on it..

thats an 84-94 cable not a 95-96 one that we need... have to love GM standards..

I believe there is a older version of this app getting around on the web to suit vy. TazzI is his username on various forums.

thirdgen.org has some interesting reading too.
