Evening all without starting another topic anyone use an Insignia as a dailly driver diesel sorrypaperbag
I had one from new for 2 years back in 09. Was a 160 but flat without the remap, great to drive but had a lot of interior squeaks and rattles which I got fed up with in the end.

Just sent the link to one of my nephew's, that works for the RAF.

BTW, he's just been stationed to Odiham, so I'll ask him to get involved with their car club, and see what events I can get invited to. hehe
Never ever heard another thing from them after joining 2 years ago so guessed they were defunct.

Just the one pair, as I may decide to mini tub or try an extreme tub and go for 305's spin
you can't go any further inboard because of the spring mounts and chassis rails. 295s are it.
If you roll possibly, but I'd not want the lip anywhere near a tyre at 200 mph.

Just got home, so unwinding and going through the day.
Very busy with the granny annexe ATM, am nearly ready to start decorating, have been putting in some stupid long days on it but I want to do it myself so its right.
Was hoping to get down but its still not the right time.

If it were the other way around, and it was shoes, I bet the answer would be different. hehe

Talking point at work, the Merlin engine pulling negative G's used to splutter and miss fire, was a cure for the fuel starvation put in placereadscratchchin
I always thought that was due to them using carbs on the Merlin.
That was the discussion Me109 fuel injected Spitfire had carbs someone said there was a mechanical fix for this could only find later engines had low and high pressure superchargers fitted as was used in the later mustangs.thumbup
They were retrofitted with a neg g carb consisting of a positive pressure bowl if I remember correctly.
