Han Solo was full of bull. He might impress the ladies with his jargon, but a parsec is a unit of distance, not time - so if 12 parsecs is the length of the Kessel Run, then it's the same for everybody.


So, likening both cars to Enterprise, then one with Capt. Kirk (and Scotty aka GSD always fiddling with the damned thing), and the other is Jean Luc Picard - with such a trusty 'ship, you can leave a blind bloke in charge of engineering.

Indeed the ro needs a fortune spending on brakes, suspension tubbing & more to drive as well as a r8 does stock

i agree with what Neil says the R8 has a batter chassis and better brakes by default, as for suspension the VXR monaro suspension and R8 suspension is about the same, the only major issue with the R8 is its a saloon not a coupe, now if they made the Coupe 60 we would be talking.

I wouldn't go that far - yes mine is quick beyond 120 where the turbos make a big difference but it's not that fast below that . I've followed enough NA Monaro's to know I don't reel them in as quickly as you'd think.

Probably because my wheels spin up through 1st, 2nd and 3rd
