What are these things like?

Pretty much same as a Bentley Flying Spur are they not?
Whats, drive & performance etc like. Or do you have the little oil burning one?

Remapped 3.0TDi = 275hp. Slow without the remap. Swift to 90mph then all out of puff. 30mpg on a run with or without the remap.

Very comfortable. Very solid handling, though much better suited to slow pipe-n-slippers driving.

The worse satnav ever. Daft electric boot lid that regularly needs a helping hand. Paint issue with steel/aluminium doors causes paint to bubble (every car has this, even new ones). Cost £4000 to repaint/retrim the doors (thank God for VW goodwill). Bottom door trims all rust internally and bow outwards.

Worth nowt second-hand, which is about right.

6.0 w12 gets 10mpg. 5.0 v10 TDi gets 18mpg and goes bang without much provocation.

Love mine, but I'd say buy an Audi A8 instead. Much better than a Merc or BMW though...

well I've got the monaro for weekends, a new Astra GTC VXR for a daily hack and the missus has an old 2.0T Signum for carrying s**t around like furniture from Ikea when the need arises.

Land Rover Disco 3
Kawasaki ZX12R

Landie gets used for pretty much everything and the most comfortable, practical car I've ever owned. Goes wrong from time to time but I really love it!

Bike is a rocket sled, stupid fast.

So, this is the "What have you got?" thread, and then there will be a "Where are you?" thread. Then all of your toys will disappear. eekhehe

I've got an old (not old enough to be revered) Ford Escort for the tip runs, and a crappy little Renault (for the daily drive).

My daily driver is a 2006 X-Type 3.0
Lovely to waft home in this after a crappy shift, and the 4WD is very handy in winter.

The wife's car, which doubles up as the family car, a 2011 XF 5.0 S Premium Luxury

It is better in every way than we could ever have expected, and with a Spires exhaust, sounds gorgeous. ( I think due to the firing order, actually sounds better than the 'Ro paperbag Not as loud though!)

fk me there's some decent alternative metal on here!

Lotus Carlton, Senator, Alfa V6 (loved my 156 GTA), plus various others. I feel lacking.

My wife has a new shape Fiesta 1.6, which is a great little car.
