My V2 ran out at 680 ish , check bearing sizes in the blower gearbox as well to see what you can spin it to there are 2 different sizes
That what I expect from a v2 max. You might manage a bit more with the right top end and cam. Hence long term I think a v7 is the way to go.

There is always the bearing upgrades out there and maybe even a t-trim upgrade on the v2

I hear over spinning a v2 doesn't net a huge amount as it's not efficient at those speeds.

I doubt if you will get anymore than that or be very suprised
I now have a T trim so we will see what that will do if I ever fit it
If you over spin it the bearings will just collapse

Lightweight valve train for that RPM I think mate.
Maybe the comp low lift rollers etc. Ideally single beehives or the new cones but with hollow or Ti intakes etc

im good.

The supercharger is a centrifugal Vortech V2 supercharger, it wont be any where near as fast as Gareths but hopefully i can keep up this year

Kjell. I'm hoping to have my Maloo (truck) ready for this years trip. It has a 457 ci stroker and other nice bits to go with it. Have a look at my profile, picture of the Maloo is on there.

Did you take the front pulley off before you pulled the motor?

I'd be interested in what combo you go for as I'm sure a few other people would

For the drag strip I plan to switch to 15" drag radials with skinnies up front

On the street for now I will use decent road tyres with the long term plan to mini tub and roll the arches to fit some 10" wide wheels with 285-295 tyres

Yeah why not a rotating assembly? Probably cost less once you get your stuff balanced up to your crank.
In which case get a lightweight one smile
Get some decent valve relief's for a decent cam one day.
