fk me at this rate of build it would have been quicker to give it to a tuner who shall remain unnamed, and thats saying something! wink
IF you were to tie your money to a boomerang and throw it, it will return. If you were to tie it to a frisby once you throw it, its gone

Ah, I see.
So engine blow ups, catastrophic failures, delayed builds and disappointingly below expected results never happen to tuners that are often named?

Good to know smile

Gary, issues occur with all tuning companies but some rectify and come good with you far more than others.

Now BOT.
Respect to the OP for DIY, I'd love to but can't afford or justify a big gaf with workshop and double garage as much as I'd like to. Just hurry up and build it! wink

The best part of this is that G hasn't got a big gaff or a garage, he's doing it in his front garden!

That is why it's taking so long, I guess that without the facilities it becomes hard to stay motivated? Hats off to him for having a go though.

they might but they don't do a runner with your money and do try to fix or help rather they don't fold the company claim bankruptcy and start up again and repeat

I agree Stig. The genuine tuners do have problems when people want to push the envelope. The good ones are the ones who stand by their work and put mistakes right without cost.

Businesses' who mislead, are fraudulent and serially go bust and start up again are just crooks and con men. There should be a law against it. But there again, half the lawmakers in this country are on the fiddle, so what chance has the ordinary punter got against these toads?

(BTW. I must be getting old - took me ages to get the boomerang bit LOL.)

I thought this thread was My Supercharged Monaro Build , did not realise it was lets bring a certain tuner up yet again.

Its all a bit boring now ,let Gurmeet have his thread back

I have said many a time , you want to shame people or companies lets do them all, not one , as there are many who have had bad experiences with various companies.

Agreed, by having a garage at all S800's facilities dwarf G's quite considerably! hehe

Keep at it mate, you'll get there, just in time for the oil to run out biglaugh

Have you got a fancy kit to check PTV? I've only got an extendable push-rod.

Still on track for TR?

Those are fairly decent valve cutouts, you'd need a pretty extreme cam to have any concerns about PTV I'd think.
