Due to family commitments i haven't done any more on the car and doubt i will touch it for a few more weeks.

I have a few other jobs to sort first which are a higher priority

But a few more parts have been ordered/bought including

Used Vortech V7 YSI supercharger
Trickflow as cast heads hand ported by brian tooley with a few other little tricks done to them
Big custom grind cam
Johnson short travel Tie bar lifters

Block needs repainting as the paint didnt stick so that was a waste of time

Confirm a few things with the machine shop and then get back on it

Any updates on the build?
Interestingly, it so happens that we live on the same road! Every time I go past I see the car sat on your driveway with the front bumper hanging off feeling sorry for itself..
I remember a few years back when the car really was rather loud, straight piped I assume, I'm sure it actually woke me up on some mornings hehe
yep the car had long tube headers and pretty much straight pipes, its why i started to walk to work.

I thought it might start to annoy people starting the car up at 5:30am smile

Have you got a fancy kit to check PTV? I've only got an extendable push-rod.

Still on track for TR?
yep hopefully, as long as i havent made any more mistakes or somehow got some dirt or debris on a bearing.

Leaving for sweden on the 27th june so not long

I have a dial indicator and a few other bits along with check springs which i am fitting now to the heads.

Those are fairly decent valve cutouts, you'd need a pretty extreme cam to have any concerns about PTV I'd think.
the cam is fairly big so i thought id check, plus its piece of mind for me
