I'll probably work until about 1pm, then home, swap cars, and start away at about 2pm. Hopefully that will then get us past the M25 before it gets really busy. I wouldn't want to leave later than about 3pm - or then I'll eat at home, and leave at about 6pm.

The choice is yours, and we can always change it later.

So I guess you'll be travelling up on the Saturday with Tattooboy?

Scratch that. The guy that shadows my work is away, so I'll be at work until about 6pm. I guess we won't be leaving until about 7pm, so getting to the hotel for drinks in the bar only. Obviously, nearer the time, others will announce their driving arrangements.

Hats off to Dougie and the team.smile

Soph was very disappointed when she was told Vauxhalls only, even Gary's 600hp GTR wouldn't be safe from Tippy over the mile and with her drivinghehe
We'll prob bring the 2 VXR's (although she'll hate the Corsa as its stock and she'll be last.)
Hope we get the chance of an event where I can test the GTR against some of the great v8 tunes from the forum. I'm intrigued to see whether the GTR can put down on the road what it loses in power to some of the bigger HP builds here. I need to get it dyno'd as well as save some pennies for more power at some point!

Would love to join you all but it's a load of cash just to watch so not worth it. Hopefully another event will come up during the year.

I actually need to see Jez' Monaro in anger at some point too!

Very keen to get involved with this. Never done one before!

Apart from not being the slowest, what can be expected of a bog standard 6.0L Ro (plus a wortec)??
