Well done old boy clap

Anybody else celebrating ? ears
I am celebrating the fact that I am definitely moving to Australia, I was given the good news last week. Job offered in sunny Perth with a sponsored visa to get us there, then sponsorship for permanent residency and also discussing a relocation package too.

So hopefully it won't be too long before we move, but I will of course miss meeting up in person with you all but I'll still be on here.

Hoping to take the VXR8 with me. Holden are sending me a certificate of compliance so I can take the car back to Oz subject to a whole host of things. If not then I'll probably pick one up when I get there.

But of course, back to topic, congrats Ian on the move to VXR8 ownership, especially the one you've gone for, excellent!!

Stef

His is actually a HSV GTS, not a Vauxhall one - as is the red E2 that Preciousmetal also has. You might want to take pictures of his Aussie Type Approval tags. The chassis details will be wrong, but they will have the correct approval codes for the options etc. wink

Doh, mis-read that one!

The VIN on the VXR8 decodes fully to built by Holden Australia and appears bar one digit to be the same as the Oz built HSV ones.

I don't think I'll have any issues Ian regarding the import for the main car, however, there may be issues regarding the supercharger apparently................................

I've Heard that the rear doors work almost exactly the same way as the front ones on the 'Ro, but there's an extra seat and look in the glovebox for the Werthers Originals wink

Heartbeat on an E3 cloud9
They are so smooth it would make the ultimate HSV. Be allot of money invested in total mind between the car and the kit.

Does yr E3 have MRC BTW?

If there's an issue with the charger take it off & stick it in the boot till it's over there wink
Must be plenty of stock bits around you wouldn't have to completely convert it back just enough so it runs smile
