Totally different type of car from the VXR8 of course, and wouldn't currently suit me (need 4seats), but one of my driving buddies has just replaced his Z4M with a 2010 Evora with sports exhaust / intake.

Wow. cool

Fantastic presence in the metal, and (from the passenger seat only) felt utterly composed at speed with superb grip. And the noise from (ostensibly) a 3.5 Toyota V6 was remarkable. Was able to stay with a very well piloted 320bhp supercharged Atom over an undulating b-road (with the benefit that following someone brings) whilst I slipped further and further behind (whilst loving every second smile )

Now .... How do I convince mrs mik I needs a second car wink

very quick vid : use speakers

My mates car is the "2+0" as opposed to the "2+2" Lee, but there is no room for anything other than baby seats in there. cant see way it could carry an adult - even for a short journey - unless the fronts seats come right forward. Best seen as a 2-seater with some luggage space.

(I'd say less room than our old 944S2 : I travelled in the rear of that for about 2 miles and it was unbearable)

True smile . And on a well surfaced swoopy 3rd (& occasionally 4th) gear b-road the big '8 is actually very impressive for its size on std suspension. Damping feels very well sorted, spring rates well chosen, and the OEM Bridestones grip very well wIth some heat in them. I was being dropped by the smaller cars, but its not like they were waltzing off into the distance. It finds it harder to control the weight when the surface is more broken, but that is really just "cannae change the laws o physics" coming into play. smile

I think so too. There are a fair few cars putting rear seats in with no leg room now.
