Guesses as to what GruFFnuTT has bought

Typical!!!
It's still bloody raining... I've not even driven it more than 10miles yet!!!
I'll post up the pics I snapped yesterday on the drive between showers... It's not the seafront setting I was aiming for but, I can't wait any longer to show you guys and I've received several threatening phone calls/text messages, so I'd best get on with it...

...Go, go, go
So here it is... I saw this car over six months ago for sale and never thought I'd be able to buy it. It was a big decision for me and something I needed to do! (Damn this 'Pistonheads Curse') I feel very lucky and I can't wait to share it with everyone.
Good guessing guys, it's a 1971 Holden Mach 1 Mustang Fastback that was totally rebuilt with all new high performance parts. The body has been redone correctly and it is an original black car and only done 6000miles since it's rebuild.
It has an original 351 Cleveland 4-barrel engine with all high-performance parts. High performance C6 transmission rebuilt, 9 inch rear end 3:55 posi, new suspension throughout, power steering, power brakes, all new interior, console, air conditioning, Ram Air hood, tinted windows, spoilers front and back, custom car painted Boss wheels, etc.
(Taken from the original advert)
The following is a list of added performance parts with full documentation of receipts showing money spent:
Original 351 rebuilt engine
Ported and polished 4-barrel heads
Aluminium high rise intake
Holley dual feed 750 carburettor K&N cleaner
MSD distributor
MSD 6A box
MSD coil
MSD 8.5mm wires
Hooker big tube ceramic coated headers
Flat top forged pistons
Competition cam valve train
Competition cam
Heavy duty radiator
Original transmission rebuilt with high performance parts
TCI 2400 stall converter
B&M shift kit
9 inch rear end posi 3:55 ratio with Moser axles
Heavy duty away bar front and rear
Aluminized 2 1/2 inch true duals
Flowmaster 40 series mufflers
Stainless exhaust tips
Custom candy painted Boss wheels
18x10's:
Front - 285/40ZR-18 Nitto Extreme Performance
Rear - P305/40R-18 Nitto Extreme Drag Radials
I know this type of thing is not to everyone's taste, but that's why I like it. It's considered to be the 'ugly duckling' of the Mustang World.
I saw one of these once at an American Car Show when I was young and impressionable and told myself if I was to ever get a classic muscle car, it would be this!
And I'm sorry it's a Fing Fd!!!

Yeah whats it drive like?
Disks all round?
I imagine its at 3500 at 80mph!
A 6 speed or overdrive trans would be good.
A low mile drag car?
Id love something similar, almost bought an XA GT 351 Falcon coupe that was floating about, except it was a hack job.
Downsides though kept nagging me, bad sealing, bad aircond, brakes, steering handling etc.
Decided late model muscle was the way to go
Either that or Protouring.. which costs like 2x as much as a late model car.
Sold my camaro today too, new owner seems happy. Made me drop the borla plate right out for straight through exhaust.
So watch this space for the replacement later this year!
I made one final burnout on the drive to say good bye.
