Not very often someone goes from a corsa 1.0 Twinport 3 cyl straight to buying a Monaro 6.0 VXR eek
Not very often someone goes from a Vauxhall VXR to a MOnaro/VXR8 thinking it's a 'natural progression'.
Oh, hang on...smile

I was recalling a comment from a couple of years ago, when you said that you found the top end of the VXR8 market was slow, so you preferred the older ones, which moved quicker. Obviously times have changed, and thinking about some of the cars you've sold between then and now, I should have thought a bit more before typing. redface

I won't pre-judge, but from personal experience, jumping from an 1100 Mk1 Escort to a Rover SD1 as a 19 year old, ended in 5 weeks with the Rover being written off.

Yes when all LS3's were £20k-£25k yes I was sticking to earlier VXR8'S but now they are more sensible seem to do all models / ages now. Still don't see the values in Bathurst S's as their are some nice modded ones out there (with yellow calipers)

Does that mean you will be moving your budget to other areas of the car?

Going to concentrate on cosmetics first as engine and running gear appear sorted
Ne headlights new lens front and rear and exhaust upgrade as its a bit to load and feel a bit to conspicuous even when poodling along

For twice the price! I am happy to wait, so many good reviews. One of the vette lads had in the past done a US import of Borla's on 3 occasions, he said he wished he'd just gone direct to AAS. Good enough for me.

quite a few! They even have their own I believe. One of the best UK vettes (other than mine obviously) had theirs done, unfortunately he never put a video up but he loved it.

Now all I have to do is book 3 nights in the Vermont or crash at a friends house (if she ever answers the phone!)
