Abandoned on Friday. Was there in the morning and when I went home. Not in a place you'd leave a £80k car to go for a walk either.
Broke down or run out of electrickery?

issed that. It would explain it. 1.5k option iirc.
No wonder they still have if everyone who expressed and intrest in it is treated like me. Went to have a look at it the other day, said to the receptionist I was here to look at the VXR8, stood there like a spare part for about 15 - 20 mins it was like I was invisible. The group of salesmen (5 of them) were discussing the short comings of some other model in the Vauxhall range and never even looked in my direction. The car itself is the mutts nuts though, but if that is what the sales service is like trying to get your money, I dread to thing what the after sales is like when they have your money

Looking good sturdy, is that low or extra low (assuming Pedders)?
Funny story there The front is super low, as intended. The rear springs were some I got from Tattooboy's car (for free, thanks Ian!), that I thought were low. This is what I was after, as I think the Monaro always looks a bit like the back is lower than the front, which is no good, and after seeing Mr C's CV8 that is set the same way, I knew what I wanted.
So, we do the front springs first, drop it down, it looks fan-bloody-tastic.
We go over to the rears, swap on the springs, and can't help but notice these new ones look a lot smaller than the old ones... Anyway, we fit them, drop Bruce down and he already looks low, then just settles. And settles. And settles. A bit of a drive around the car park and we're talking full collapsed suspension look.
Turns out they're super low. And we didn't fit any spacers. Total drop at the back? 6cm! The front now points skywards, you can't see the top of the tyre, you can just about press a finger between the tyre and the arch, and under any compression, the entire top of the tyre comfortably disappears up inside the arch
So I speak to Roger (thanks Rog!) we get some food, and put on the 10mm spacers, one top, one bottom, on each side and things are a little more sensible now (as pictured) but for what I was after it's still slightly too low at the back.
I'm going to chat to Roger about it, if there's a 15mm spacer available, then replacing the pairs of 10s with pairs of 15s would give me at least another cm at the back and possibly put it right where I pictured it. There doesn't look to be a lot of suspension travel back there though with these springs, so I may be better off to get the wallet out and buy the right springs instead
Edit:
See what I mean? Not a good look...
