Similar to what I'm looking to do as well now, good news is I'm getting a bigger garage with an inspection pit hopefully, bad news is the spending on the Ro will have to stop albeit temporarily. I'm hoping for a radiator in the garage though, so not all bad news.

Similar to what we did, about 15 years ago. Garage down, new big integral garage and utility room downstairs, 2 extra double bedrooms and new family bathroom upstairs.

My only regret was the utility room. As it's on the back of the garage I should have not done it, but had a longer garage with another garage door into the garden, giving better access, and a garden overspill area (read another garage in the garden).

007, did you get out for your drive yesterday?? Only managed a couple of drives to work, not the same, but going to Whitstable tomorrow in the Ro which will be nice
