Plastidipped my LSA badge today, think it looks real good:

I like that, it's come out really good, where did you buy the dip from?

Just got a can from Amazon. Bout 15 quid iirc. Just need to work out if I can do the VXR8 and GTS badges without removing them from the car...

Did you get the spray or tin of dip?

Just got the spray can. With the other badges it is just going to be a pain to mask them off. You build it up in layers so dripping shouldn't be an issue.

You don't need to mask it off really, you can just spray it straight on there and it'll just peel off around the badges.

Worst case scenario I'm wrong and it'll just peel off anyway hehe

Tis true, though there are some right fiddly bits round the VXR8 badge which would be a bit of a pain to peel it off.

It is not that overspray is a problem as such, the plastidip peels off just fine, it is just the awkwardness off peeling it out of the holes in the R and the 8. I think I have a solution though, fill the holes with some blutac to act as stoppers and then spray over that biggrin

Worked for me, quite amusing for something that only lasted a second. By the time I'd watched 3 videos though and written this, I've actually wasted some 'real' time rolleyes
