The worst of it is there are no mods just repairs. Service with gearbox, clutch and brake fluid change. Pulley and a/c belt, drop link LED brake light. Rear brake discs.

Just lots of small things that all add up.

As the BBQ has dropped so far off of page 1, thought I'd write some random guff to get it back onto Page 1.

September is shaping up to be a pretty damn fine motoring month, with mini meet @ Elite penciled in for this Saturday, meeting up with some others a bit further North for the Vulcan Bomber visit up @ Wellesbourne airfield (on sticky) for Saturday next, then have just been given a VIP ticket for Goodwood Revival for Sunday 13th. Feeling like a right jammy bugger and looking forward to much time in the Monaro biggrin

Was watching a video on facebook this morning of a Monaro/GTO driving.
James asked if that wad the same cars as ours?
i said yes, but can you see the difference??
James replied, yes, the steering wheel is on the other side. Yes i said.
James then said, But that's the lady's seat !!

You've got to admire the dedication of some garages - going that extra mile to find a rattle. hehe

Hope you all have a good time.

I got this this week, and rather good it is too:

Anyone know what happened to the car in that pic?

I don't normally bother with coffee table books with glossy photos, but this seemed to good to pass up....

I would guess it was one of Lindens cars? It was registered two years before Vauxhall brought the VXR in, yet it has the HSV front. All of their cars were sold when they closed up. Donk had one of their Utes - one of only two traybacks, built for evaluation in around 2001/2 I think.
