Hope you all have a good time.

I got this this week, and rather good it is too:

Anyone know what happened to the car in that pic?

I don't normally bother with coffee table books with glossy photos, but this seemed to good to pass up....
I would guess it was one of Lindens cars? It was registered two years before Vauxhall brought the VXR in, yet it has the HSV front. All of their cars were sold when they closed up. Donk had one of their Utes - one of only two traybacks, built for evaluation in around 2001/2 I think.
Does that have red seats or are my eyes bloodshot ....... AGAIN hehe

My Pal Tony who owns Capa use to send cars over for Linden to sell , there is still a forged 7 Litre he built with a Vortech on many years ago that may soon show its face thats never been used

Personally, we used to leave the kids out of decisions like this. It was for them to adapt, and kids are very good at that. The problem is that a 7 year old thinks that 3 years is half a lifetime (and it nearly is for them), but both you and I know it's minimal in the grand scheme of things.

Unfortunately, your problem is not "What additional opportunities will I gain?" but "What will I lose if I don't take up the offer?" and I'm sure 003.5 isn't thinking of that at all. What would be his opinion if it meant no more foreign holidays to see granddad or GPs, and other similar luxuries?

Hello mate, not exactly sure of what you're going through but the old adage is very true and worth repeating: stress is just a waste of the imagination.

I've just been through a turbulent few weeks of job offers and important decisions.... and stressing about it all didn't help one bit.

Fingers crossed that it all works out the way you want thumbup
