Just done my H&S review for the week.

Killed and seriously injured............0

Ongoing risk to the public..........0

Ongoing risk to myself.............. significant

I have some tinnitus shout , and some teeth puncture wounds around the ears.

Finally booked the Eurotunnel tickets for my driving holiday in a couple of weeks. Looks like it will be about £600 in fuel if I can average 20mpg smile

Head off a week tomorrow, hope the weather holds out. I do need to get my tyres sorted before I go though. Half a mil off being legal and would prob be bald by the time I got back!

10000. Front are still like new, Thunder Road had a bit of a detrimental effect on them, plus the fact I don't exactly drive like Miss Daisy... Should have also got the car serviced before we head off, but haven't had enough time to arrange it before we go so will get it done once back.

That is going to be great fun. We head down near Montauban every year because my Dad lives down there and we did the trip into Andorra last year - the roads there are fantastic but once you get up into Andorra, as counter intuitive as it may seem, avoid the tunnel and go up and over the mountain - it is an awesome road - the scenery is spectacular and the hairpins just suit second and third. As you arrive in Andorra, it looks like you have arrived in Poundshop land but persevere through and its lovely.

New tyre day today biggrin

Hopefully I will be able to drive the car without constantly spinning the wheels everywhere! Had a moment of panic this morning that I had ordered the wrong size so had to run outside to have a look! I was ok. Got Falken FK453's on the way, so will see how they compare to the Conti's I currently have. Rear only though, fronts should last another 10-20k at this rate!
