He's had it over 15 years (since he was 17!) and has put so much work into it, and was literally hours work from finishing adding the twin turbos to it.

Everyone with a garage, go check the sockets are turned off, yeah?

Not good, But I hope some kind of insurance was in place to cover the workshop etc and therefore cover all losses inc the car?

Probably not judging from the fact donations are being asked for. Can't begin to imagine the sense of loss....

I think it's the sentimental thing with the car, I believe insurance is involved, but it'll surely be a Cat A so if he claims, they'll just crush it?

Insurance on workshop stuff I don't know what he has arranged to be honest, fingers crossed...
