Waiting for paint to dry before adding stickers thumbup
They were called transfers in my day. How much fun was it waiting for the transfer to curl up, go back down and separate from the backing paper!

Weird. I was at my older brothers earlier, and he has a couple of old models on stands, in the conservatory. As we were chatting, and listening to the rain fall, I thought "An ideal day for model making" smile
Great minds Araf thumbup
And just to top it off we have been building it in the conservatory smile
Though before I get started on models, I think I need to get Mrs Araf's model railway mounted on a coffee table and the points electrified. redface

Yes, it would be life-sized for her if it was any bigger. hehe She's had it for quite a few years, and we keep meaning to have the layout set up permanently under glass, but it hasn't happened yet. I guess it's now this winter's project. rolleyes

I have a HO gauge setup in mums garage since I was 10... its on chains which I lowered down from the roof...
Last time I went back to NZ the track was totally rusted up and a bird or something had started a nest...
I hoisted it back up without cleaning it... Winter job hehe
