Hi All, I am new to PH's so apologies if I have put my first post in the wrong area! Anyway I am the owner of a 2007 Monaro 5.7 v8 and I need to get some new brake pads (front and rear), there are so many websites offering Monaro pads that I nearly gave up! however after some searching I went onto the Mintex website and from there I managed to order the 'appropriate' sets however on receipt I found the front ones do not match my current pads - for a start the new ones have a smaller/ tighter radius than the current ones and therefore the bearing surface of pad to disc is different - my disc is 320mm. Twin pot pbr braking system. I will be returning these, so I am now back to square one - can anyone recommend a couple of places I can look? I am loathed to order, receive and then have to return as they don't match frown please help cheers V Force

Failing that you could phone Monkfish Performance and order from them. They are the go to source for everything Monaro / VXR8 in terms of servicing and parts....

Chances are your car has had a brake upgrade then. Post a picture of the brakes, and see if someone can identify them for you. I'm guessing you have the VXR brakes on the front.....

BTW, welcome to the site. wavey
