I couldn't find one on ebay - apart from the crewcab one. Do you mean this one on autotrader?

Good luck on 450bhp thats about 335rwhp with the auto.
Not possible IMO.
Considering the highest spec HSV LS1 was 385BHP not sure where the extra 75bhp comes from.
Id suggest it would struggle to hit 300rwhp. But dyno sheets from SRR will tell all.
They should have priced it well under £10k IMO.
Its neither hare nor hound but a mix of odds and sods.
A practical utility with lowered suspension and a whacking great tank in the tray? Hmm..
Still its a v8 holden, so on that basis its great

Considering there is a more valuable monaro for £5400 a non standard ute should go for less than that IMO.
I guess its rarity might make it more valuable for parts.
It wouldnt be the first time a working car was bought for parts!
Thats my somewhat nonchalant opinion of a price to move it on at anyway.
It may sit around for months and months like the crewman otherwise.

Your miles out , that Ute should do 8.5/9 k & you cant compare a Monaro to a Ute I guess its rarity might make it more valuable for parts.

Against it though is being auto
As for the Crewman thats just way overpriced

I wonder if thie owner of this ute was a forum member would it of been discussed in the same manner
What do you think?
Exactly,
I have no filter and apply my comments equally as many will know. What do you think?
Exactly,
Maybe they are a forum member? How do you know they are not!?

Just thought that the forum should perhaps support fellow owners of Hsv / Holden owners and not hinder them wherever the said vehicle is liked or disliked.
There are some cars for sale that. Appear to be overpriced , forum buddies cars that no one mentions
Maybe Ringram is being a bit harsh, but not far, by looking at the state of it in the pictures. If an owner cannot take care with presentation for selling, what does that say about the care they've given the car while in their ownership? Also, we are offering an opinion (that we can all have) and whilst this may not be beneficial to the owner (member or not) it may be considered by a new owner (member or not). There are some cars for sale that. GaryNoGrip paid about £8500 for a car in much better condition, from a dealer, earlier this year.
If you'd like to point out an 'over-priced' forum member's car, I'm more than happy to give you a reason why I think the pricing is just, or what price point I think it should be at.
I considered mine a bargain, lost out to a similar one back last summer, think it was over 11k but private and I couldn't get funds, but was happy to pay that! This red one was on eBay a few months back and wouldn't sell at £8500, did look at it but auto and old dash didn't do it for me, what makes it a hsv though? It's not a maloo dispute badges and thought they were the only hsv ute? I'm not an expert so sure someone can explain for me?
Incidentally was quite happy to pay the 16k for the silver maloo until James (precious metal) pointed out it was plus vat which I hadn't noticed and couldn't stretch to that, no real idea why I like em so much, but I can be a bit special lol

If that was true then there are loads of bad cars out there I've seen some of them.
I just don't think it's for us to judge cars we don't even know about
It's just wrong in my opinion. If I was going to purchase a car I'd make my own choice and do my own research
Ok how about "the best NA vxr8 in the country".

I could cop out and just say it's worth the same as yours (except it's a faster colour ) but here's my opinion.Your thoughts Ian
Truthfully, until I saw the mention of 'Brutus' I didn't recognise it as a forum car. It's had £10k spent on it, but so have many others, and that doesn't warrant the price tag.
I think an advertised price of £17-18k would be a realistic pricing point as a private sale to see it shift, and certainly don't see it getting interest until advertised for under £20k. How would you value yours?
That bumper needs sorting too!
Maybe the seller doesn't really want to sell? Of course, I'm happy to listen to justification, but when there are two supercharged cars (you can change them back to N/A and flog the superchargers for £5k) for not a lot more money, it makes you wonder what yardstick was used to gauge the pricepoint.
