Car now at the Fish with headers been sent away this week biggrin
Is there a lot of prep required before sending them off (as they're not new)

May get mine done, can't hurt to have it cooler in the engine bay now can it...
I would think that Zircotec will shot blast them, just to give their coating the best chance of staying on. I know they don't warranty the finish on used parts though.

What, just to have them coated?

Or does that include removal, courier there, coating, couriering back and re-fitting???

I'd hazard a guess that's to just clean then and coat as coating is around £800 normally. It's allot of money TBH, think il just cut bigger vents in the bonnet soon. wink

When i got mine done at the start of the year the price was 840 including courier
The price has gone up a bit then....you can save £200 ish if you just have them coated white

Ridiculous price!!!

(But while people pay it, they'll keep charging it)

They obviously need some competition.

True, But if the real world results are as they claim, it will be money well spent IMHO biggrin
Plus as part of the overall package of mods on my car, its one more bit taken care of smile

Not critical of what you have done. Just by comparison Ceramic coating is a AU$300 (£166) option on my Pacemaker LT headers. I reckon it looks better than Zircotec too.

R8 Black's headers came from Oz coated, and are still looking really good, cool
