Been having a little play with the torque app on my smartphone and i noticed one of the displays is throttle %, when the engine is idling it is around 18%, but when i press the throttle as hard as i can it only comes up to 88%, does this sound normal or am i missing the last 12% of throttle travel?

V quick answer: There is electrically a small portion left at the top and bottom of the travel to enable fault detection. E.g. if there was a broken wire or similar a reading of 0% or 100% would indicate a fault.

That's the problem with diagnostics. You don't realise there's something wrong with the car until you see a gauge. hehe
