I've arranged a day up at the pod for the Mitsi GTO owners where I'm hoping my measley 320whp will break into the 11's cool

I wonder if any of the HSV guys we interested in coming up for the day too ? I know ARAF mentioned he was curious as to how his UTE would do.. it takes off like a scolded cat !!

Anyone up for a fun day out ? £35 for unlimited runs and only helmet and licence needed.

Its the last RWYB for the year.

I may or may not spew gearbox parts all over the line rolleyes...The short ratio box I run is rated too 400ftlbs, Ive been running 550+ ftlbs for the last 14 months yikes

Also, We are staying the night before as we always enjoy a night of beers and banter before an event. If anyone else wants to stay we will be here on sat the 25th

Depends if I can sort out some drag radials as the last outing even on MPSS was an epic fail frown

Would be good to put the line locker to it's proper use however hehe

Maybe.....and I might see if I can bring the ute. Not sure if I'm in the country yet, but will try to block the dates out. Also will love to see Gareth's ute in the flesh as well.

sounds like a good meet in then making cool

I will have both my TT conversions there praying for a 12 sec pass min, I am literally starting to TT another GT but this time its getting bigger turbos than mine and is auto. If all goes to plan I should have that running and mapped by then ready for its maiden blow up..I mean voyage laugh

The auto should do mid to low 11's on around 370whp all going well. Looking forwards to lots of long evenings ahead cool

phew...well its been a mental last 4 weeks (hence my scarceness) with me building the UK/EU's first Twin Turbo auto 3000GT and having a few, ok a LOT of teething niggles laugh The car is now up and running well, Im off to map it on Saturday and should have some numbers soon. Ive only got little tiddlers on for gearbox reliability but should see around 500bhp and 600+ ftlbs

My black manual TT conversion one decided to send the gearbox into orbit on the motorway 4 weeks ago too but as of yesterday I have now fitted a replacement box. This box 'should' last 2 or 3 runs up the strip netting a mid 11 if I don't baby it too much. After that its ack on pump gas and normal boost levels so i dont smash another box. I had to buy a whole running car to get this box frown

As long as I get to drive one of the cars home im happy rolleyesbiglaugh

So anyone else up for it ..should the rain bugger off rolleyes

5 points and £500 frown

I dont think Gareth's ute is ready yet?
Still messing around with the tune I think.

I see no reason why it doesn't rip a 10 off if/when it does make the track if tuned ok.

From what you were saying, it could have been a lot worse.

Fb, I'm still interested, as long as the weather is with us. They don't allow you to run in the wet, do they?

Yeah dry track or no running...and being the last RWYB of the year I'd be pretty pi55ed if it rains as Ive worked my backside off to get both cars ready laugh
