OTR..?
Question is what power do you want and whats your budget?

NOS?

What spec cam? OEM heads and intake are crud in the LS2.

450rwhp isnt that hard. But needs some effort in the wallet zone for decent heads and as Roger says fast intake then just cam till you hit power requirement.

No budget = no power.

No goal = no point.

What you have (intake) is plenty good enough. FAST Intake manifold would be next id suggest. But your gains are only going to get smaller from here.

Id be happy with what you have.

Give us a call mate, but seriously, id think about dropping the diff ratio in preference to the laws of diminishing returns of major engine surgery.

I think us NA lads will still show you lot a thing or two, ok headline figures might be lower on the dyno but 500NA is better than 600FI! Its like empty calories FI is

Sorry, I forgot your boot wasn't like ours. hehe

BTW, a 10lb bottle is 20.5" long, with valve, and 7" in diameter. Now tell me you don't have room. wink

Hmmn ratio change = faster acceleration = lower top end (that I don't use) Food for Thought scratchchin

you could also ask MF to change your throttle opening rates, in the beemer (I know I know) the sport button gives no extra power but makes it feel like a good 40bhp by increasing the throttle actuator to a 1:1 ratio. Its a quick and simple way to see what the feeling will be (just without the performance gains of the diff) go 3.7 for best of both worlds

Wow, go to work and come back to 4 more pages already!

Pretty sure I put sul in at texaco btw, trouble I have is how will I know if that sorts it? Far too worried to push the car at the moment, getting to monkfish is not that easy to plug it in so to speak, could change the knock sensors for the hell of it I suppose!

It was working fine below about 3k though, wasn't it? If so, then I can't see a problem with moving it to Mf. If it shouldn't be used, then £300 to transport it up there could be money well spent. frown

It's a lot better to find out now, than after a catastrophic failure. Shame I didn't get chance to speak to you after the run. I'm guessing you were gutted, but you didn't show it. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

without any scan tool changing the knock sensor you'll not even know

its only going to be a major issue on wot situations and I know its an arse to get to MF BUT you know theres a problem that could cost 10k if it goes bang. If you had a scan tool you could check the timing and KR and even potentially determine if there is a misfire (though you'd hear it and mf would have mentioned it), then you can change the sensor and test.

either way its money but one of the ways will cost more but comes with a little bit of reassurance
