While not on a lsx engine, I had a serious issue similar to what Gary is having. Turned out that a blowing exhaust manifold gasket was setting off the knock retard

im aiming for around 7200 with tie bar lifters and most likely tappered pushrods assuming the blower will go that high

Maybe you have forgotten that a lot of good and honest people on here have been raped and pillaged by a certain tuner who (it had been proven) had absolutely no integrity in his dealings with them. Are you saying that he's a good guy and deserves to be defended?

Unfortunately, yes they all have the same protection whether they deserve it or not. Not my rules.....

Slow, waiting on the trickflow heads, and cam.

The time I spent painting the block was a waste as it hasnt set so I need to strip it and plan to paint it in 2 pack black

What I did notice was that the forum appeared more relaxed in his absence. IMHO of course!

Now we suddenly have a major confrontation, a good, if controversial, friend banned, and our freedom to challenge (accepted that has to be in the right spirit and tone)and debate freely, questioned by someone who says he has our members best interests at heart?!

Could this be as simple as ht leads/spark plugs, leads are looking a bit warn, at eden vauxhall now and luckily turns out an old friend is one of the mechanics!
