Going through parts in the garage and wondered what the going rate was for a set of vxr8 19s, need space in the garage as doors and wheels are getting in the way of man tools and workbenches.

I assume the rears would need tubbing on the old style chassis, although I'm sure VO03UTE got them on his ute??

Not directly. The VE wheel flange is smaller than the Monaro one, and I guess yours is the same as the Monaro? You'd need to pop them in a lathe and turn a couple of mm off them.

Yes. VXR8 is only 66mm (IIRC).

MikeyB runs VXR8 wheels on his Monaro without tubbing.

In all honesty, I'd happily give up circa 20mm to save the cost of tubbing. Besides, for my weeny 400rwhp, 265 MPSS are more than sufficient. Besides, 265/30/19 MPSS tyres are actually 282mm wide, so I would guestimate about the same as other manufacturers' 275 wide tyres.
The whole point of me fitting VXR8 9.5 inch rears was to prove it can be done. Which I did smile
