Hi folks. I can confirm I am going to make it tomorrow. My friend is coming but only as a passenger with me as his AP's haven't arrived yet for his Monaro so it's MOT less. Also my 15yr old brothers V8 mad so I don't suppose it's a problem if he tags along with me?
Not a problem smile A few other non-HSV members have cottoned on to this, so expect a variety of cars when you arrive!!

Champion, I can't remember from memory what it's like up there. How many cars are we expecting? Ample parking?

Hi all,

On behalf of Stuart, Alistair and the others at AAS, plus myself, I would just like to thank you all for attending. I personally thought it was fantastic meet- I hope everyone else enjoyed it too smile It was also nice to put some faces to names, as well as catching up with mates.

The tunnel run was awesome! Apologies to R-kid, I think we may have lost you on the way there.

After speaking to Stuart, we would like to turn this into a regular annual event, perhaps maybe even twice a year. I hope you all (plus others) can make the future meets.

Cheers
Mike

Yeah I'd definitely go again, twice a year sounds good to me. Only downside for today was I too was lost en route to the tunnel and missed the bit we were really looking forward to frown

Ended up making plenty of noise on my own through newcastles maze of one way systems...... Eventually having a solo tunnel run smile

Had a great time today, good to meet some old faces and new ones too.

My ears are still ringing from the tunnel run, absolutely brilliant! Glad to see the other tunnel users enjoying the sound of our cars biggrin

Still remember the last one we had there.

I waited at the tunnel for 30 minutes before another car got there and it was a fcensoredd
then it was another 15 minutes before another one turned up and that was going the other way after going through the tunnel in the wrong direction.laugh
In all think only 4 cars made it to the tunnel.

Glad you all enjoyed yourself. smile

Would have brought the nissan down but was working in aberdeen. frown

Hi guys, good to meet you all yesterday and thanks to Mike & AAS for a great meet.
Sorry I lost some on the way to the tunnel, it's a bit convoluted to get there.
Cut outs are deffo the way to go through the tunnel, I couldn't see who was making
the noise but it must have been freakin loud back there coz it was where I was smile
I'm for another meet if the Corvettes are invited again wink
My hat is doffed to the guy from Billingham who kept me honest on the way home wink

Dave.
