It was an open invite, though a 200 miles round trip would normally be a bit OTT for a KFC. The company made it worthwhile. smile
Mine was 170 miles so Araf yours must have been 220?
Probably. Just checked, and I'm 114 miles from Jez. redface

Luckily for us, others rely on their sat nav, rather than just using it as an additional navigation aid. We went old school, and followed the road signs. Didn't have to resort to real old school.

Real old school, when you don't know the geography is to follow the car in front as "he seem to know where he's going." hehe

I was going to text and mention it but was unsure if it had got it right, I have never had it say any more than 6 or 7 mins delay before but I still done exactly what it said as I always do LOL

On the way down, there were queues, but I thought it was just holiday traffic going home, and wouldn't be there for the way home.

We were half way around the M25 when it clicked. Bournemouth Airshow traffic.

My biggest regret of the day was not saying cherio to your mum, reminded me how much I miss my mum.

Off-roading is such a laugh. Which reminds me, I much chase up my engine rebuild. The bike's been away for nearly two years now. redface

I've has a little Gas Gas Pampera for 11 years now. It's a trail bike, but can do (and has done) enduros and Hare/Hounds events well (for me). It weighs less than me, and is a lot of fun. Prior to that, I had Honda and Suzuki 4 strokes, and Yamaha 2 strokes. 2T is a dying breed, but it's definitely more fun.

In this county, I would look at Observed Trials. Cheaper to start in, and something is going on within 30 miles nearly every Sunday morning. You can even just practice in a car length outside your house, with an old car tyre - riding round and over it.

Being me, I've half a dozen more in the yard. That ones the bike I bought to teach Sophie to ride then I restored it, next time I'll bring more up for everyone to play on.
Sorry about your mum mate, mines been part of my problem but now she's becoming part of the cure.
