Take it Roger. Definitely the right place to be.
Gurmeet will struggle to keep up. But there is plenty of time to get to the stops.

Ok, we already have accommodation.

So the idea is to sort that out yourselves ASAP!
Reason is things book up fast. We are a little SW of Vasteras and thats a good place to be in general.

As for channel crossing and en-route accommodation we will sort that out close to the time. This can be coordinated at that point.

There could be two (speed) convoys.

If Roger takes his Charger, he won't want to be wanting to be too heavy on the gas. Baggsy first passenger spot in the Charger for the cruising???

I'm happy to sort out some extra accommodation for myself and who ever else wants to join in.

Ringram: I take it you have booked the same place as last time? How many people are you expecting to be able to sleep comfortably at the place you've booked? And who?

GSD: having stayed at the place Jim booked this year, would you stay there again? Or would somewhere closer to ringram's place be better?

I'm without Internet at the moment (typing all this through my phone) - once I'm back online I'll book something. In the mean time, I could do with a name call of who is going and who's just registering interest at this stage. Clearly it's early days and we can't all 100% commit at this stage. I've started a list below:

Committed to going:

ringram (has accommodation booked)
pah250 (will be booking second accommodation shortly)
MyM8V8 (assuming staying at ringrams place?)
gsd2000 (staying at ringrams? or other?)

Possible names of other attendees at this early stage are:

mikeyb1987
EmmaJ
leigh1050
bigunit00
Wxmmechanic
monkfish1
N2HSV

Feel free to copy/paste the above list and move your names from the Possible list to the Committed list if you want to, or add/remove names etc.

To be honest looking back, Jims place wasnt too bad.

On the plus side

It was quiet,
parking for about 6 cars if you use the grass
plenty of space in the house
2 petrol stations which were less than a 5 minute drive away

bad points

no wifi
the house looked a little tired in places,
some doors not shutting properly and a bed broke which we repaired, looked like someone already broke it and did a bad repair
3 bedrooms, 1 with 2 singles, 1 with 1 single, 1 with 1 double, so depending on if you want to share a room depends on how many can stay, but with 3 of us it worked out to just over £100 each which is very cheap

We also thought the owner was a little funny with the money because she said we gave her some old notes, but after reviewing everything one of us did have a couple of old notes but we used them at the show without any issues

but overall its not bad for the price and location wise it is a little out of the way, but it took us about 20 minutes to get to Richs place and then drive to the show and cut all of the traffic out

Dont know about Lurch, there is only one bathroom its more of a semi hotel/bed sit.

So Gareth and I will be there, there is one other room spare with 2 beds which were penciled for you and your mate, but can go to someone else etc.

They said camping in the back yard was fine. Not sure about bathrooms though..

Blokes a bit savvy though and has put the price up 40% which I thought was a bit steep. Especially as we offered to save him his internet commission payment and book direct.
