Just got back from Walkinshaw and all I can say is that they are a great bunch of lads. The car had a service, Super Car Exhaust fitted, Power pac that consisted of an ECU remap and an OTR air filter, and I also got the gear box re-mapped. It was great driving the car back up north. The sound now from the exhaust is great, and even driving up the motorway at 70 it settles down and there is no drone in the car.

The lads were great, picked the car up from the hotel then came and collected me when all the work had been done and kept me informed along the way.
Was also great to see so many VXR8s, HSVs and Monaro's there to, even recognised a few from various forums and youtube clips.

All in all a happy bunny, and after talking to Dave there, I think I've already picked next year jobs I'd like done after getting a few quotes.

Good to read. I'm there in 2 weeks for a bi-modal, small remap etc. Similar to others, can't wait.

Not sure if it was you on the other Forum I responded to, however, I had the Bi-Modal on my GTS and unless you're giving it big beans, it's rather quiet !!

I had Tim fit me a manual switch which is much better IMO smile

Same here - best option as you can be loud when you want to be rather than only when engine is above a certain rpm

Don't bother with the bi-modal, get the Supercar!
Mine recorded 112db at 4000rpm at ThunderRoad hehe

Pretty much yeah!! hehe

In truth, since the car 'accidentally' became de-cat'd, the noise level has gone through the roof, so I've started to use quiet when I get home late/leave early etc else I think the neighbours would have a fairly legitimate reason to complain. But that's the only time I use quiet.

I've got the Performance catback fitted at the moment, but when I get the cam, headers and cats done i'm leaving it as a 'quiet' system....I genuinely prefer the sound! smile
