Both standard will be mid to high 13s (depending on tyres, driver skill, conditions etc).
Terminal speed will be circa 105mph.

Thanks, I thought it was in the 13's.

Every TVR so far is in the 12's, didn't realise these old things went so quick.

New shape RS6 just hit 11.1 - nice car

13-14s averages depending on a number of factors
12s if well setup

Not much between VXR8's and Monaro's save the autoboxes and wider tyres help get those heavier 4 door buses up the strip with less effort wink
Monaro is chassis limited as standard.

Cerbera's for example are about 400kg lighter than a RO. Hence quicker times.

Who me....I didn't go up the strip as I was too busy eating chip butties and watching the cars

Fastest road car was an 1100 BHP GTR @ 9 secs dead and 155 mph
Fastest road bike was a Kawasaki @ 9.9 and 142 mph

Surprise of the day was an original Fiat 500 that looked reasonably stock (from the front anyway) that ran a 13.1 sec and a moped which managed 87 mph.

Others - An M4 that was almost a sec quicker than an M3 (low 12's)

A Datsun 240Z pulling mid 12's (some of you younger readers won't even know what a Datsun is...lol)

With the advance of dual clutch transmissions, cars are getting quicker now, with A class Mercedes, Audi A3's, Seats and Golfs putting in very respectacle times, The TVR's manual gear changes seemed to take ages by comparison although their overall times were pretty good.

Whackiest vehicle of the day was a jet powered mobility scooter, although it didn't run as the owner had only just finished building it, and my favourite car was the RS6

Nice to say hi again wavey

Turns out the A45 AMG wasn't quite stock as he had some sort of chip thing in there, so presumably raised the boost pressure a bit. I saw it run a 12.2 anyway, which is a bit depressing for a silent hatchback...

The RS6 was ridiculous, off the line like a missile on super low profile road tyres, in comparative silence, it ran a 10.9 at 125. Traction must be quite novel!

The fast & furious crowd do at least have one thing in their favour, the cars are generally manuals, so good for them thumbup

Those Chimaeras aren't stock, Derek in the blue one is running high 10s low 11s with a serious shot of NOS and radials on, Barry in the green one also has a serious boost from the laughing gas. They must weigh about 700kg less than a stock Monaro and what, 7 tonnes less than a VXR8, so it's no surprise they shoot off the line!

I arrived at midday and the queue was huge, so I kept my wallet closed, except for lunch anyway hehe
