OK, just had my quarterly pamphlet delivered by Shell and I clocked up a £21.50 voucher between 1st of April and 30th of June. Or 4376 Shell points purely on Unleaded Nitro+

Anybody beat me?

I once presented the cashier with a £20 voucher and she was blown away, Shell don't give much up. Mine was a special offer where the voucher cost me £10 though...

£3.50 I've just got, but I've only recently started collecting them.

How many miles is that Emma?

My balance is currently 22,408pts which is £112. :-) Not sure when they last sent me anything though.

Last Christmas I used a £40 Shell Waitrose voucher and caused a right issue with the staff, they didn't know what to do with it.

Nice! Shell kick out my points every 3 months. I've redeemed 8000 odd points and have 2316 points accrued. So you beat me hands down! How long have you been collecting Shell points? I've only been collecting them since Feb 2013 but you can't beat free fuel so I wish I'd started earlier laugh

I've had my shell card for years, even back to the good old days when they just gave you cash back for your points. Just use the Waitrose vouchers now to expand the Whisky collection. lol

40,000 miles a year in the SC'd VXR8 soon gets you through a lot of V-Power, but then when work pays for it doesn't really matter too much. (Although technically that makes my shell points another taxable benefit!!!)

I thought they issued the letters every 3 months, but haven't recieved one in ages! Might just leave it until Christmas.

I dont get V power rewards although working it backwards I probably should have got a card.

A friend and I both run on Methanol mix in the main fuel tank and between us we have used roughly 600L of Methanol ALONE in the last 15 months and have just started a fresh 210L drum !!! working that backwards I make that around 2500 liters of V power on top of the meth. I dont know how many points that would have given us..probably 10 or something silly rolleyeslaugh

Last weekend we did a 600 mile round trip with 7 other 3000GT's. We all stopped for a fill up at a Shell and it was double points on V power... all 8 cars filled up a min of 60l each and only one guy had a V power card, turns out he acquired a good few points that weekend (probably around 700 liters at double points for the weekend) eekyes

what is the methanol mix you refer to? do you need some methylamine Walter?

I run my 3000gt on 20% straight Virgin Methanol which is poured directly in the fuel tank. Its 116 octaine and when diluted with V Power its is dropped to around 109 octaine. So for every 20L V power I fill up, I pour 5L straight Meth in the fuel tank too. So basically I run on 109 race gas 24/7 for around £1.26 per liter wink (Methanol is £0.80 a liter when bought in 210L drums)

Much cheaper to run on and MUCH more performance gains when mapped for it. Win/Win
