The point is that is is NOT a Vauxhall. its a HSV, its on the moldings , parts etc.

I have technically never owned a Vauxhall and never will, hate (purely personal preference) everything they make, it turns out the Vauxhall cars i did like they didn't make either!

I assume other manufactures must do the same but cant think of any?

Holden?

I call it the "VXR8"cool

How can it be a VX if they don't make it?

most VX dealers don't even know what it is, and try asking your local dealer for parts its a Joke..

But please dont take my word for it, im sure a few others on here have had the same experience? anyone.....tumbleweed

It's not a Holden.

Holden make the Commodore

HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) make the R8 Clubsport, GTS, etc. which we get

HSV is a Manufacturer in it's own right - think of them as the equivalent of Alpina.

A bit of a geeky set of videos, but I like them. This is a playlist about the design, production and testing of the Gen-F GTS https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTuV4ZRd2AS...

Once the tax disc can be removed next week, there will be no mention of Vauxhall on my car. smile

I'm no badge snob, but the HSV badging seems far more "appropriate" to me.
What does your V5 say? What will come up on the DVLA website, when people check your registration?
HSV biggrin
