Hi All
10 days until my Ro's insurance needs renewing and would like to know where else i can get quotes for my S/C Monaro ?????
Just been quoted £750 with 12 years NCD
I think Adrian Flux might be loosing my business this year.
Who's giving the best deals and how much is everyone else paying by the way?
Cheers all

Look on a comparison site. I am being quoted £548 fully comp for a brand new GTS with 6 yr no claims, parked on drive, 10k per year, SDP.

I don't mind the cost of the premium as long as it's within reason, I really look for the customer service side of things. A lot of people on here have asked the same and it's turned into a conversation about peoples experiences with the insurer as opposed to the cost. Obviously you are looking for the cheapest but I'd be inclined to weigh in their performance too smile

Wifes 2005 std Ro, LS2, £430 Fully comp, 8k miles a year, 6 years no claims. Protected NCB, legal cover, with Admiral - both of us on the policy, She got 4 quotes and played one off against the other, they reduced it by £100 p.a for a better policy.

Sky £760 for me on a 2008 supercharged VXR8 all mods declared, brakes exhausts, and like for like which was I think fair. They knew what it was.

Comparison sites are Ok but ensure you talk to a human and agree ( one argued that the VXR8 was a 4 ltr because that's what their computer said) just what it is and any mods. If not the risk sits with the person not the Insurance company. In the event of a claim they do check (will they did with us once) to ensure it all matches the quote.

Admiral/Elephant types have always worked for me. Around £400 (sometimes £360, sometimes a bit more). 35, 14 years no claims (or whatever it says these days!), garaged, Social and commuting. 5,000 miles a year I think it's limited to.. or it might not be now. I forget!

They were like that to me. I just fked them off anyway. Mind you all insurance and utilities are the same. There is absolutely no loyalty bonus, just try to stitch you for more and then reduce when you get a better deal. Pays to shop around every time.

I'm with Need to insure, and they were just a bit more than A-plan, who were much cheaper than Adrian Flux renewal.

Funny thing is, it's the same underwriter???
