I have had a look on the internet and the Monaro VXR front badge is on the bonnet and the CV8 is on the grill and is a lot different.

Good point Mick - I shall try one of the other offers. Thank you for the offer. :-)

I'm afraid that none of the kind offers produced the badge I needed - so I am still on the lookout for a Monaro VXR (2006) bonnet badge.

We now know that the CV8 an R8 are not the right ones though.

Anyone out there got one ... please?

Best

Just a brief and public note of thanks to Chewie - bonnet badge arrived safe and sound today.

And also thank you to all of the others who offered and for the responses.

Result!

Good news Ian.
Sorry I couldn't find the one I have. I've looked again since, It's still a mystery.

I had the same with my old CV8 Vauxhall badge, someone on the forum wanted on a few months ago, I could not find it anywhere, it just appeared out of thin air a few weeks ago

I assume I just use a Pritt Stick or a lump of Blu Tack to fix it.

You could. I us this stuff. Stick it to the badge, cut inside the edge with a sharp knife, strip off the backing, and apply it where you want.

It may be worth marking where you want it before you start, as you'll only get one go, or you'll have to start over.

This reminds me I have to rip off all the holden badges that the previous owner put on mine, I like the naked approach!
