Yes this is the VXR600. pendine sands may be an issue as I think they enforce stricked speed limits on the beach now but will try and find out.

There was a red one (later 6.0L version) for sale at the garage at junction J37 a couple of months ago. Bumped into somebody who works there a couple of weeks ago and I believe he said that it has been sold to someone pretty much in the same area as me. :O

Broadslide, is the crosshands hotel still there?. I used it as my digs when i worked in wales IN 1970!. Used to drink in the crosshands working mens club, goodtimes. Yes i really am that old.

I don't plan on speeding on the beach (well the rear wheels might be doing 120 but the forward velocity won't be anywhere close to that )
